Marina di Camerota

An unforgettable show

Between Sea, History, and Dreamlike Nature

Marina di Camerota

Marina di Camerota, a corner of paradise where time seems to stand still, welcomes its visitors with authentic and timeless beauty. Here, you will find postcard-perfect beaches with fine white sand gently sloping into clear, blue waters, ideal for refreshing swims or spectacular dives. The coastline offers a mosaic of wonders: hidden coves between rocks, enchanting sea caves like the Infreschi Cave, and inlets where nature reigns supreme.

Completing this unique picture is lush, fragrant, and evergreen vegetation, which adds a magical touch to the landscape. Marina di Camerota is not just nature: its Saracen towers, such as the Zancale Tower, proudly watch over the village and tell tales of distant eras. The modern and well-equipped marina is the perfect starting point for excursions to nearby bays or the spectacular coasts of the Cilento Park. Not by chance, this location is known as the “Pearl of Cilento,” a title it proudly holds, reflecting all its extraordinary beauty.

The Beaches of Marina di Camerota

The coastline of Marina di Camerota stretches over 15 km and is characterized not only by crystal-clear waters but also by beaches, coves, caves, inlets, and unspoiled areas. Here are some of the main beaches:

Calanca Beach: Nestled between two rocky promontories, this beach has the shallowest seabed, making it perfect for children. From Calanca Beach, you can also see the island of Marina di Camerota. The Chalet degli Ulivi has an agreement with a beach club located on this wonderful beach, which is just 250 meters from the village.
Lentiscelle Beach: This beach consists of small stones and pebbles. The village also has an agreement with a beach club here. Lentiscelle has ample parking and is located 1.5 km from the village.
Mingardo Beach: A series of beaches about 7 km long. It is located outside the town, along the road connecting Marina di Camerota to Palinuro. On this beach, there is the third beach club associated with the village. At certain times of the season, the Chalet degli Ulivi offers a shuttle service to the beach; however, this service is not always available. For more information, please ask the village management.
Marina delle Barche Beach: Also with fine sand, this beach is located right in the historic center.

In addition to these main, easily accessible beaches, there are other beautiful beaches like Capo Grosso and Cala d’Arconte, which can be reached by walking through the lush nature, plus a series of inlets and coves, many of which are only accessible by sea, such as Pozzallo, Cala Bianca, and the UNESCO World Heritage site Infreschi Bay.
